Motor vehicle e.g. minivan, steering assistance system, has logic controller for determining deviation of actual path from desired path of driver of vehicle to determine correction torque to be applied on electric power steering of vehicle
The system has a logic controller (7) for determining a desired path of a driver of a vehicle and determining the actual path of the vehicle. The controller determines the deviation of the actual path from the desired path of the driver to determine a correction torque to be applied on an electric power steering of the vehicle. The logic controller activates an actuator (6) of the power steering based on the deviation.
