PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of acquiring nondestructively and efficiently a detail data based on a mineral composition, as to an extremely large number of stonewares and stone products other than obsidian and vitric andesite difficult to be carried out by a conventional analytical method, and capable of estimating an area of production based thereon.;SOLUTION: An X-ray diffraction test is executed by a parallel beam method as to the stoneware or stone product of an analytical object to get a feature of constitutive minerals, a test result is therein calibrated sometimes by applying or attaching a standard substance onto a sample to obtain a more strict data, and the analytical object is compared with a standard rock to estimate precisely the area of production of a raw material of the stoneware or the stone product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
