METHOD OF GAINING COLOR INFORMATION USING LIFE SUPPORT ROBOT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a robot to smoothly provide life support services by easily, surely and rapidly specifying the articles of a user to be served. PSOLUTION: In S40, a user 41 asks a robot 1 about a schedule first in the morning. In S41, the robot performs face recognition through pattern matching. In S42, whether the user is standing, sitting or lying is estimated. If this estimation is uncertain, the robot 1 moves to e.g., the front of the user in S43. If necessary, the robot moves again in S44. In S45, the user's clothing area matching his attitude is determined and the color of his clothing is specified. In S46, the user 41 is recognized by the color of the clothing, and in S47 the tracking of the user 41 is started.
