PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control device, capable of responding to a sudden change of traffic state.;SOLUTION: A network of traffic signal control for an important intersection 201a and general intersections 203a-203f is connected with a network of traffic signal control for an important intersection 201b and general intersections 203g-203j. Restriction information (a cycle fluctuation value available for the other important intersection, an offset fluctuation value available for the other important intersection, etc.) is exchanged between the boundary intersections (intersections 203f and 203g) of different networks in accordance with reception of traffic information and signal control contents from the adjacent intersections, whereby an autonomous distributed control over the networks is achieved while maintaining the cooperation at the network boundary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
