PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an extension building in an upper unused volume part of an existing building facing a main street of a midtown part.;SOLUTION: This upper floor extension construction method comprises a support structure construction process of constructing a support structure 2 adjacent to the existing building 1, a suspending structure support part construction process of constructing a suspending structure support part 3 overhanging in an upper part of the existing building 1 from the support structure 2 constructed by the support structure construction process, an extension building construction process of constructing an extension building 6 suspended in an upper space of the existing building by the suspending structure support part 3 by successively extending a floor toward the existing building 1 from the suspending structure support part 3 constructed by the suspending structure support part construction process, and a connecting process of the existing building and the extension building for connecting a lower part of the extension building 6 constructed by the extension building construction process and an upper part of the existing building 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
