PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an extension building in an upper unused volume part of an existing building.;SOLUTION: A method for suspending the extension building constructed on the upper part of the existing building from the suspending structure support part projected from a support structure adjacent to the existing building, comprises a support structure construction process of constructing the support structure adjacent to the existing building, a suspending structure support part construction process of constructing a suspending structure support part horizontally overhanging in an upper part of the existing building from the support structure constructed by the support structure construction process, an extension building construction process of constructing an extension building suspended in an upper space of the existing building by the suspending structure support part by successively extending a floor toward the existing building by successively sending a suspended floor downward through a suspension member from the suspending structure support part constructed by the suspending structure support part construction process, and a connecting process of the existing building and the extension building for connecting a lower part of the extension building constructed by the extension building construction process and an upper part of the existing building.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
