PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microactuator capable of achieving a structural strength while maintaining highly accurate positioning control with respect to a high recording density magnetic disk, and reducing manufacturing costs by using a conventional manufacturing process.;SOLUTION: The microactuator 10 is provided with a base part 11 bonded to a flexure, a pair of arm parts 12 and 13 bonded to the base part 11, and PZT elements 12a and 13a attached to the arms of the arm parts 12 and 13 to be elongated/contracted based on an applied driving signal, and adapted to hold the side face of a magnetic head slider 1.
