PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microactuator for a magnetic head capable of reducing cost of manufacturing while improving rigidity and stroke characteristic.;SOLUTION: The microactuator comprises: a base part bonded to a flexure; and a pair of arm parts bonded to the base part and capable of bending and deforming, wherein a magnetic head slider is held by the pair of arm parts, and the magnetic head slider is caused to oscillate because the arm parts bend and deform. One of each arm part is provided with a concave portion for making the width of the respective arm part narrow in a holding direction of the magnetic head slider.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
