METHOD FOR ANTIMICROBIAL AND DEODORIZING PROCESSING FOR NON-SEWN KNITTED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for antimicrobial and deodorizing processing for a non-sewn knitted product, which is excellent in antimicrobial effect and deodorizing effect, keeps soft touch feeling, excellent in laundering durability and dyeing fastness through substantially uniformly and firmly applying a photocatalytic agent over the obverse and reverse faces and the inside of a non-sewn knitted product.;SOLUTION: The method comprises the following process: A non-sewn knitted product is put into an aqueous treatment solution containing 0.5-7.0 wt.% of the photocatalytic agent and a binder at 20-60°C, respectively, subjected to in-bath processing while circulating the solution, thereafter subjected to dewatering and then dried without liquid squeezing. This method is suitable for processing particularly innerwear, sportswear, face masks, petwear, etc. each consisting of such a non-sewn knitted product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
