PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a 3-dimension cam profile measuring apparatus provides variation in measuring results as no measurement error is considered for each apparatus.;SOLUTION: The 3-dimensional cam profile measuring apparatus 10 comprises a reference measurement value acquired by measuring the shape of a reference object having a prescribed shape using a 3-dimensional cam profile gauge-head 110, a data correction information storage 62 which stores the correction information that corrects a measurement error of the 3-dimensional cam profile gauge- head calculated based on a true value about the shape of the reference object, and a data correcting part 60 which corrects the measurement result of the three-dimensional cam based on the correction information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
