PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film easily bondable to an ink image receiving paper or an ink receiver layer, which is prominent in concealing property and a bondability to an aqueous ink receiver layer, used for an ink jet printer or the like. SOLUTION: The polyester film easily bondable to an ink receiver layer is characterized in a constitution that a coated film, laminated on at least one side of the polyester film, is constituted of (A) 30-80 wt.% of copolymer in which the rate of dicarbonic acid constituent having sulfonic acid base with respect to the total dicarbonic acid constituent is 6-15 mol% and having a secondary transition point of 20-40 deg.C, (B) 15-45 wt.% of polyvinyl alcohol having the degree of saponification of 70-90 mol%, (C) 3-25 wt.% of fine particles having an average particle size of 20-80 nm, (D) 5-20 wt.% of a compound, shown by formula (I), wherein R is formula (II), formula (III), or formula (IV), while the surface energy of the coated film is 50-65 mN/m.
