PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition exhibiting excellent releasability in the manufacturing of formed body using a lignocellulose-based material, and a hot-press formed body having excellent properties such as hot-water resistance and a method for manufacturing the same using the lignocellulose-based material. ;SOLUTION: The purpose is achieved by the following: the adhesive composition consisting of an organo polyisocyanate compound (A), a wax emulsion (B) and a catalyst (C), that is, the adhesive composition for a hot-press molding of a lignocellulose-based material, the adhesive composition being characterized in that the acid value of the wax emulsion (B) is ≤10 mgKOH/g, the wax component has a melting point of 40-160°C, and a component having a number average molecular weight of 100-1,000 in terms of polystyrene according to gel permeation chromatography(GPC) occupies ≥80% in the peak area of GPC; and the hot-press formed body of a lignocellulose-based material and the method for manufacturing the hot-press formed body using the adhesive composition.
