According to the invention a basic assembly configuration for determination ofrelevant vegetation parameters includes a high repetitivepulsed excitation laser (1) for the stimulation of chlorophyll fluorescence, afluorescence detector (3) including an imaging and separationoptic (4, 5), a trigger and delay electronic (6) to adjust the laser andappropriate detector timing and a detector electronic (7), consistingof a signal recording and processing module. An assembly realized according tothe invention can be used for determination of relevantvegetation parameters for agricultural, horticultural and greenhouseapplication.
