A POWER SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING A REGULATED DC OUTPUT VOLTAGE

A power system includes a plurality ofpower supply units ("PSUs"), each PSUhaving an output that is coupled to the output of other PSUs in the powersystem. Each PSU includes a power factor correction ("PFC") assembly forreceiving an AC input and generating a first DC output. A DC/DC converterassembly is coupled to the PFC assembly, and receives the first DC output andgenerates a second regulated DC output. A control assembly is coupled to theDC/DC converter assembly, and is operative to monitor the DC/DC converterassembly output and in response thereto provide control signals to the DC/DC10 converter assembly.
