The invention concerns a method for supplying two devices to be paired A and B with means for mutual identification, which consists in using a third secure device C which will be used as secure information support between the two devices to be paired and in using a means of communication having no security problems on each of the three security devices A, B and C. In particular the invention enables secret conventions or trust elements between the two devices to be securely set up for secure communications between said devices.
