Device for curbing and holding back the flow of sediments in a coastal environment or any other aquatic environment, arranged perpendicularly or longitudinally relative to the coastline, constituted by an outer protective shell (1) inside which is arranged one or more internal envelopes (2) forming a filter, the shell (1) and the internal envelope (2) being permeable to water, and being ring tubed in shape, said internal envelope (2) being injected hydraulically with aggregates, characterised in that said outer protective shell (1) is constituted by a plurality of successive permeable layers.
