The coloring support apparatus 100 judges, on the basis of the color information acquired, coloring rules that match coloring applied to the document among coloring rules in a coloring rule registration DB 10 and matching colors that match the coloring rules among the colors applied to the document. The coloring support apparatus 100 displays, for each of the coloring rules judged, displays a name of the coloring rule and a coloring pallet including the matching color group.
