The gear has a play-free gear as a base unit in a base plate, where a motor and the play-free gear form a construction unit. The unit is alternatively operated without sensor with having commutation and with sensor, where the unit is operated as a precision positioning. A gear wheel (2) with external teeth is provided in the center of the gear, where force transmission takes place by a flexible gear pan (1) with inner teeth. A drive is provided with a rotor ring having magnetic poles and an elliptical form, where the drive is a stator package with an electronic commutator.
