Enquiry or scanning system has an input and output unit (1,2) and a computer unit (3) for functioning together with a store (4), in which the computer unit (3) is deigned for accessing a quantity of documents in the store (4), which are categorized as useful data meta-data, and in which the computer unit is designed for data processing. The computer unit (3) comprises a specification module (32) and a recursion module (33), in which the specification module has an observation unit which takes over a quantity of hits with the search module (31), and extracts in the documents a quantity of hits containing metadata on the basis of first applied conditions, and is are outputted as a metadata matrix and has an evaluation unit which is used for analysis by means of a pre-adjustable statistical procedure and outputs an emphasis list of the metadata.
