A passive matrix-type organic electroluminescence display device and a driving method thereof are provided to restrict abnormal emission and crosstalk by applying non-selection voltage of high level to a non-selected scan line during a predetermined time of a scan period and keeping high impedance during the rest of the scan period. A driving method of a organic electroluminescence display device having plural scan lines(SCAN1~SCAN3) and data lines arranged across each other and plural pixels connected to the scan and data lines, and displaying an image by driving the pixels during a predetermined period, splits the predetermined period into plural scan periods: drives the scan line by supplying a selection signal(VL) of a first level to one of the scan lines at every scan period(T); supplies a non-selection signal(VH) of a second level to the rest scan lines that are not selected, during a predetermined time(Ta) at every scan period; floats the rest non-selected scan lines during the rest time(Tb); and displays the image during a predetermined period by supplying a data signal through the data line to the selected scan line at every scan period.
