An electrode rod clamping device with an electrode rod cut prevention function is provided to effectively prevent the electrode rod from being cut by changing the structure of a holder for holding an electrode rod. In an electrode rod clamping device for clamping an electrode rod by comprising a holder body fixed to one side of an arm, and a jaw(20) movably installed on the holder body, an electrode rod clamping device with an electrode rod cut prevention function is characterized in that: the jaw has a ring-shaped jaw body(22) into which an electrode rod(130) is inserted; extension parts(23) are formed on an upper portion and a lower portion of one side of the jaw body such that the extension parts are respectively extended from the upper and lower portion to upper and lower sides; and jaw pads(24A,24B) together with insulation pads(26) are mounted on an upper part and a lower part of an inner surface of the extension parts onto which the electrode rod is inserted.
