A method for manufacturing a SrTiO3 varistor using a grain boundary segregation is provided to simplify the manufacturing method by performing a sintering process at a reduction atmosphere. Powder-state acceptors are added to source powders and the result is sintered at a reduction atmosphere. The sintered result is heat-treated in air. An additive containing Al2O3 and Fe(NO3)3.9H2O, which are added into the source powders, is added into the source powder up to a concentration of 0-2 mol%. The sintering process is performed for 10 to 15 hours at an H2 atmosphere at a temperature between 1250 to 1450 °C. The heat treatment process is performed for 0.5 to 2 hours in air at a temperature between 1000 to 1200 °C.
