A method for preparing a partially ferrocenylated dendrimer is provided to obtain the dendrimer easily, in which ferrocene derivatives are introduced, with high yield and easily identify the substitution degree using 1H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy. In the method for preparing a partially ferrocenylated dendrimer represented by the formula(4) by reacting a dendrimer represented by the formula(1) with a ferrocene aldehyde compound represented by the formula(2) in the presence of an acid catalyst, 35% of 64 end amines of the dendrimer is generated as the ferrocenylated dendrimer of the formula(4) when the molar ratio of the compound of the formula(1) and the compound of the formula(2) is 1:0.33. The ferrocenylation degree of the ferrocenylated dendrimer is calculated by using rate of chemical shift 2.60 ppm and 4.25 ppm of 1H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
