PURPOSE: A system for managing a mobile identification card and a method for managing the mobile identification card are provided to reinforce a security and personal authentication function.;CONSTITUTION: A mobile identification reader terminal(200) transmits a authentication request signal requesting the authentication about the recognized mobile identification card. The mobile identification management server manages the mobile identification card about a mobile communication terminal by issuing the mobile identification card. The mobile identification card management server performs an authentication process about the mobile identification card according to the reception of the authentication request signal form the mobile identification card reader terminal.
