The invention relates to a device for controlling the driving dynamics of a vehicle, comprising means for detecting at least one driving state variable representing a driving state and with a vehicle dynamics controller for determining an addition of steering angle, according to which a steering movement, in addition to the steering movement commanded by a vehicle driver can be executed.The apparatus is characterized in that the vehicle dynamics controller (100, 110) at least two regulating units (340, 350) of which comprises a driving condition range are assigned to the fact that it comprises determining means for determining a present driving state, in which the present driving state, starting from the driving state variable, can be determined, and that they are in communication with said determining means activating means (360), with which a control unit (340, 350) is switched open, which is associated with the determined driving condition range.
