The method involves identifying products with a weight-barcode, and coding a target weight of respective products in the weight-barcode. The weight-barcode and a product-barcode are determined using a barcode-scanner (5). The products are weighed for determination of their actual weight. A signal output is generated, where the signal output indicates whether the actual weight corresponds to the target weight of the products or not.
