Vacuum cleaner has a removable dust collector (3) for inserting into the lower part (1) of the vacuum cleaner. A centrifugal force separator (2) is provided, by which the dust from the dust-loaded air is separatable in the dust collector. Clean air is dispensed over a negative pressure area (7) to the environment. The dust collector is fixed by means of a detachable attachment (5,8) at the lower part of the vacuum cleaner.
