The body has a surface comprising a plastic matrix and a metal particle provided as antimicrobial medium, where the metal particle is a silver particle. A package impermeable for water vapor is provided for enclosing the plastic body. The metal particle has a middle particle size of 0.1 to 1000 nanometer, and the plastic matrix consists of polymer e.g. polyurethane. An additive e.g. organic or inorganic filler material, is distributed in the plastic matrix. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a plastic body.
