The method involves determining image regions relevant for correspondence determination in image sequences, where image regions form image areas. Parameterize functions are respectively adjusted to the image areas in a cavity stretched by pixel position, image value and time. Parameters of the parameterize functions are used for formation of a similarity measurement between the image areas of the several image sequences. An independent claim is also included for a device for a three-dimensional scene reconstruction, comprising a camera system and evaluating processor units.
