The machine has a format adjustment comprising adjusting units (10, 12) e.g. crank handle, with which format of a printing product to be processed, is manually adjusted. A sensor is provided for detecting position of the adjusting units. An electrical storage unit stores the position of the adjusting units detected by the sensor. An electrical signal device (24) indicates whether the position of the adjusting units correspond to the stored position. An independent claim is also included for a line provided for a machine in a printing process.
