The method involves receiving an image frame, and estimating a movement between the image frame and a preceding image frame. A prior movement estimated value is updated with the estimated movement for producing an updated movement estimated value. The image frame and the preceding image frame are corrected using the updated movement estimated value. A compound-image is produced from the image frame. An independent claim is also included for a spatial-compound-ultrasonic imaging system comprising a memory.
