The vehicle has sealing devices (21, 22) for limiting a buoyancy area (10) between a base or a water surface and an on-board drive surface (11). The device has rigid sealing vats (20, 30) that extend in a movement direction of the vehicle. Air ducts (40, 50) and openings (41-44) produce air flow in the buoyancy area to generate aero-static buoyancy. The air ducts and openings are designed to generate an air flow drop in a flow section, where the air flow drop is directed vertically downward from an area of each vat to a direction and is aligned horizontally in the buoyancy area. An independent claim is also included for a sealing vat for a ground effect vehicle comprising air ducts.
