A production method comprising a step of marking in a region to be shaved off by lens shaping lens production information such as a shaping mark (31) indicating a region remaining after lens shaping on the surface of a spectacle lens (10) and reference position marks (32) indicating the vertical direction of the spectacle lens. A lens processing device comprising a device for detecting reference positions of a spectacle lens and a device for marking lens production information on a specified surface of the spectacle lens based on the reference position information obtained from the first device, the marking device being provided with a laser irradiation device for applying laser beams. A step of marking production information in a region to be shaved off by lens shaping can improve a lens production yield and a production efficiency.
