PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out a new HLA-B (human leukocyte antigen-B) allele, and provide a probe, reagent, kit, etc., useful for the detection of the same.;SOLUTION: This new HLA-B^*4002 allele of which exon 3 consisting of a base sequence of sequence number 1, is provided. Also, the probe for the detection, designed based on the sequence of the allele, reagent, kit, etc., are provided.
