PAPER SHEET PROCESSOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always process paper sheet at proper speed without requiring an operator to change over between a normal mode or a high-speed mode in consideration of noise around a processor. PSOLUTION: An internal sound collection part 13 measures the noise generated from inside the processor, noise information showing the level of the noise is compared with a threshold value read from a storage part, a paper sheet is processed in the normal mode to separate, convey, or stack the paper sheet at normal speed when the noise information exceeds the threshold, the paper sheet is processed in the high-speed mode to separate, convey, or stack the paper sheet at speed higher than the normal speed when the noise information does not exceed the threshold value, and the normal mode and the high-speed mode are changed over according to the level of the noise generated from inside the processor to process the paper sheet.
