PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a language learning supporting system wherein a learner can learn the meaning and usage of words, and grammar, without feeling monotony, boredom or insipidity, and can acquire a sense of accomplishment in learning.;SOLUTION: The language learning supporting system includes: a sentence information storage section 8 storing sentences and choices for the meaning of a sentence; and a component information storage section 9 storing the result of learning components of a sentence. In the language learning supporting system, a sentence and choices for the meaning of the sentence are read out of the sentence information storage section 8 and presented to the learner, learner's result of selection is inputted and reflected on the result of learning the component of the sentence in the component information storage section 9, and the result of learning the components of the sentence in the component information storage section 9 is presented to the learner.
