PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of forming a homogeneous π conjugate polymer orientation film without strictly controlling manufacturing conditions.;SOLUTION: (1) The method of manufacturing a uniaxial orientation film of a π conjugate polymer includes a step of giving a shearing force in one direction to realize uniaxial orientation of the π conjugate polymer for the surface of the π conjugate polymer thin film formed on a substrate. (2) The method of manufacturing the uniaxial orientation film of a π conjugate polymer according to (1) includes compression-bonding and sweeping a solid on the surface of the π conjugate polymer thin film to give a shearing force. (3) The method of manufacturing the uniaxial orientation film of a π conjugate polymer according to (2), wherein the solid has viscoelasticity. (4) The method of manufacturing the uniaxial orientation film of a π conjugate polymer according to any one of (1) through (3), wherein the π conjugate polymer is made to have a temperature not less than a softening temperature in the step of giving the shearing force. (5) The method of manufacturing the uniaxial orientation film of a π conjugate polymer according to (4), wherein the π conjugate polymer is cooled immediately after the shearing force is given.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
