PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulation hot water tank constituted so that a thermal insulation material does not peel off in handling, since there is risk of burning the thermal insulation material of a hot water tank outside surface in firing, when leakage and rust are caused, since a floor of a toilet room is wetted with dew when the dew is generated in its part, or when a terminal part of a sheath heater exposed outside a hot water tank is wetted with this dew when arranging the sheath heater in a lower part of the hot water tank, when the thermal insulation thickness becomes partially thin or a hot water tank wall becomes an exposed state, when the thermal insulation material peels off in installation work of the hot water tank, when covering an outside surface of the hot water tank for a hot water washing closet seat with the thermal insulation material.;SOLUTION: A layer of the thermal insulation material is formed on a hot water tank inner surface. The hot water tank is integrally constituted by respectively joining an upper tank part of an under surface opening and a lower tank part of an upper surface opening.
