PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of extracting all the metabolic substances existing in biological samples, of detecting a rough difference between a control group and an experimental group, and of verifying significance thereof. PSOLUTION: The method of the present invention includes steps of: analyzing fractions of all the biological samples extracted by a solid extraction method, fractions of the fractions extracted by a liquid-liquid extraction method, and fractions extracted under two kinds of different pHs by a liquid-liquid extraction method, after hydrolyzed, using a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer; converting chromatogram results into statistically processable numeral values; and analyzing the numeral values by principal component analysis (PCA) and determination analysis (DA), and for detecting the differentiability between the control group and the experimental group. An advantage of the method exists in a point of detecting the rough difference based on peak areas on chromatograms without using a standard substance and a verified quantitative determination method, in the two groups having different characteristics, and the method detects the presence of metabolic change in an organism due to a disease or the like, without determining quantitatively and accurately the metabolic substance.
