PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bead plate for a metal gasket in which a large difference in bearing pressures due to positions of beads is prevented and complications in manufacture of a mold and maintenance is prevented.;SOLUTION: In the bead plate 11 for the metal gasket, cylinder holes (bore holes) 12 are provided for a number of cylinders, and a bead 13 forming a sealing part is provided so as to surround them. A plurality of bolt holes 14 are provided for fixing the metal gasket between a cylinder head and a cylinder block. Since a portion A-A is near the bolt hole 14, clamping force is high, and since a portion B-B is between the bolt holes 14, clamping force is low. Consequently, a width of a resin based coating agent to be applied to the bead 13 is wider in the portion A-A and it is narrower in the portion B-B so that the bearing pressure is uniform.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
