PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Rooibos tea product easy to be charged in a tea bag, having excellent appearance and handling convenience, obtained by using Rooibos tea extract essence and Rooibos tea leaves, having no defects that extract essence powder gets out of the bag during storage or transfer of tea bag products, and aiming at effective use thereof. PSOLUTION: The method for producing a Rooibos tea product comprises mixing (A) Rooibos tea leaves and/or Rooibos tea leaf extract residue, with (B) extract liquid from Rooibos tea leaves, subjecting the mixture to soaking treatment, and subjecting the soaked mixture to freeze drying or vacuum drying.
