PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to quickly select a stock whose price changes in a desired pattern among many stock names.;SOLUTION: A stock name search device is characterized by comprising: a similarity calculation part 60 for calculating a degree of similarity between transition of the stock price handwritten-input by the user and respective transitions of a plurality of stock names; a stock name list generation part 66 for generating a list by selecting a part of the plurality of stock names based on the degree of similarity; and an output part 68 for outputting information related to the selected part of the stock names.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
