PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron base powdery mixture for powder metallurgy excellent in room temperature and warm fluidity and formability and moreover, small in the temperature dependency of fluidity and green density, and to provide its producing method.;SOLUTION: In the iron base powdery mixture containing iron base powder, powder for an alloy adhered to the iron base powder by a lubricant melted and fixed thereto and a lubricant freed from the melted and fixed lubricant, one or more kinds among the iron base powder, the powder for an alloy and the lubricant are composed of powder coated with an organosiloxane film in a coating ratio of ≥80%. Moreover, preferably, organosiloxane has phenyl group, the lubricant melted and fixed to the iron base powder is composed of a co-melted material of calcium soap and rithium soap or a co-melted material of calcium soap and an amide lubricant, the freed lubricant is composed of a powdery mixture of an amide lubricant and polymethyl methacrylate powder or rithium soap powder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
