The invention relates to medicine, in particular to a method for a microsurgical approach to the root of trigeminal nerve in experimental animals. The method provides performing the trepanation by the microinstruments and operating microscope. The pachymeninx is cut along the edge of trephine opening, and after displacement of temporooccipital part the area of temporal bone pyramid, cerebellum tentorium and its incisure. The cerebellum tentorium is cut for approach to the root of trigeminal nerve.
