A light string with a screw head is provided, including a light string and ascrewhead. The light string includes a plurality of LEDs connected in series by aplurality ofwires. The wires connected to the screw head. The screw head further includesaninsulating body, a screw shell and a contacting end. The insulating bodyfurther includesa circuit to regulate the current before providing to the LEDs. The lightstring with ascrew head of the present invention can be used with conventional light stringto extendthe use of the conventional light string and provide more varieties fordecorative andlighting purposes.
