The invention relates to an arrangement for an electronic circuit (201) in a rotating electrical machine, such as an electromagnetic retarder, comprising a wound exciter rotor (101) and a current generator provided with a feed rotor(124) comprising coils for electrically powering the wound exciter rotor(101)via the electronic circuit(201) mounted adjacent to the feed rotor (124) and forming a single assembly with the body of the feed motor. The invention further relates to an electromagnetic retarder comprising said arrangement.
