The invention relates to cryogenic engineering, in particular to methods for purifying and separating a heavy component concentrate by rectification in such a way that target components, for example krypton and xenon and isotopes of light gases such as deuterium, tritium and helium-3 are obtained. The inventive method consists in additionally thermostatting the flow of a heavy component concentrate, the flow of a low-boiling target component fraction and the flow of a high-boiling target component fraction, in irradiating said flows with ionising radiation in such a way that light gases are obtained in the flows, in additionally purifying the flows, in concentrating the light gas isotopes in the flow, in subsequently separating said isotopes and in additionally removing nuclides from the production flows, wherein xenon is used in the form of a high-boiling component, krypton is used in the form of a low-boiling component and the concentrate can contain one type of heavy target component. A device for carrying out said method is also disclosed. The invention makes it possible to increase the purity and safety of production target components and to improve the efficiency of the method and device.
