A cultivation vessel and method of continuous cropping that ensure easy application and enable prevention of injury by continuous cropping without causing any intense load on environment. Use is made of cultivation vessel (1) including cultivation vessel main body (10) and planar heat generator (20) fitted to the cultivation vessel main body (10) for warming the interior of the cultivation vessel main body (10). Accordingly, only by warming the soil within the cultivation vessel main body (10) by means of the planar heat generator (20), even when broken root or hairy root (B) of previously cropped plant remains in the soil, the broken root or hairy root (B) can be annihilated to thereby enable prevention of injury by continuous cropping attributed to a grow inhibiting substance secreted from the root of plant per se. Further, only by warming the soil within the cultivation vessel main body (10) by means of the planar heat generator (20), there can be annihilated any pathogenic plant bacteria adhering to the broken root or hairy root (B) or any pathogenic plant bacteria living in the cultivation vessel main body (10).
