The drive spring (34) has a centrifugal force compensation device (80) that opposes widening of a radial gap (42) in an annular part (36) as a result of centrifugal forces that occur during rotation of the drive spring about an axis of its annular part. A movable yoke attached to the end regions of the annular part bridges the gap and opposes its widening under centrifugal forces. An independent claim is also included for a plate spring lever assembly for operating a friction clutch with integrated wear compensation.
