Provided is a porous metal-organic polymer, which maintains an opened structure even after removing guest solvent molecules to show permanent porosity, and is useful as a molecular adsorption medium, light emission medium or catalyst. The porous metal-organic polymer has a repeating unit represented by the formula of [Co^II_2(mu-OH)_2Co^III_2(mu-OH_2)_2MTB_2(H_2O)_n].xA.yB, wherein n is a number of 0-4; x is a number of 0-20; y is a number of 0-20; and each of A and B independently represents a solvent molecule selected from the group consisting of dimethylformamide, toluene, benzene, pyridine, tetrahydrofuran, ethanol, methanol, formamide, methylformamide, ethylformamide, propylformamide, butylformamide, dimethylformamide, diethylformamide, dipropylformamide, dibutylformamide, diethyl ether, propanol, methylamine, dimethylamine, trimethyamine, ethylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, dimethyl sulfoxide, water, chlorobenzene and phenol.
